Graduate Student Clinicians Program
Application Process
The Graduate Student Clinician (GSC) Training Program accepts applications from USF
graduate students from the disciplines of social work, mental health counseling, marriage
& family therapy, and applied psychology (counseling, clinical, and school). Acceptance
of graduate student clinicians is contingent on the expressed interest and capability
of the student, availability of supervisors, and office space.
In order to qualify, applicants must be currently enrolled at USF and in good standing
in their graduate program and be approved for a supervision model that may include
primary supervision from a licensed professional and secondary supervision by an advanced
trainee such as a doctoral psychology intern or a post-graduate fellow.
Application Material:
- Cover letter describing interest in collegiate mental health, any relevant experience, semester(s) applying for, and desired number of hours per week at the USF Counseling Center

We are looking to recruit for 4 positions for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Compensation Opportunities:
Paid positions are available for USF graduate students who are accepted to do required training with us (externship, internship, field placement, practicum, etc.).
