Sarah Eddinger, M.A., Doctoral Intern

Pronouns: She/her/hers

Languages in which I conduct therapy: English

My approach to therapy: I am originally from Central Pennsylvania and relocated to Florida for graduate school in 2022. I utilize an integrative approach of evidence-based practices, often combining elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and interpersonal therapies. I approach therapy collaboratively with a trauma-informed and person-centered focus. My clinical areas of interest include working with individuals struggling with trauma, personality issues, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, identity, depression and anxiety. Additionally, I have developed some expertise with women’s issues, systemic issues, and issues related to sexual orientation & gender identity.

I am committed to creating a safe space that feels welcoming and empowering to all students. Paying attention to your unique life history and world view within treatment is something that is incredibly important to me, as I strive for students to be comfortable enough to bring all aspects of who they are into the therapy space with me. I am passionate about helping you process and manage your struggles in all areas of life. I recognize that the college era is often one full of change, challenges, successes, and self-discovery. My goal is to help you navigate these years in a meaningful and healthy way.
