Anna Bui

Anna Bui, M.S., Ed.S.,
Postgraduate Fellow
Pronouns: She/her/hers
Languages in which I conduct therapy: English
My approach to therapy: I am an Asian American cisgender heterosexual woman from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With a background in promoting student career planning and success, I understand the various challenges university level students face that can impact their academic and mental wellbeing. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, I focus on collaborating to identify goals and create manageable skills. Although my approaches adapt to individual needs, I primarily use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and have experience in group facilitation. I view therapy through a holistic and culturally competent lens because every story is unique. I am committed to fostering a safe space for students to feel seen and supported and look forward to connecting with you!
A Fun Fact: I love all things art: literature, theatre, film, music, and more! In my free time, I am likely watching a film or reading a nonfiction or historical fiction book. I also speak conversational Vietnamese.
