Martin Tadlock

Martin Tadlock joined USF St. Petersburg in 2016 as vice chancellor of academic affairs and was named the St. Petersburg regional chancellor in 2017. He served as regional chancellor until the summer of 2023, when he returned to his current faculty role. 

Starting out as a middle school teacher, Tadlock then became an assistant professor of middle level education and director, The Center of Education for the Young Adolescent at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He later served as professor, chair, and assistant dean in the College of Education at Utah State University and moving into university level administration as dean of the College of Professional and Graduate Studies at Bemidji State University in Minnesota and then as provost. 

He also served as assistant vice-chancellor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and as provost and interim president of Northeastern State University in Oklahoma during the course of his career.
