Three faculty members from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences were recognized at the USF women’s lacrosse game on April 2 as part of the team’s “Favorite Professor Day.�

Jennifer Roth, MSW, LCSW, QS, assistant instructor in the School of Social Work, was recognized by a student in her Happiness and Wellbeing course.
“I thought it was wonderful to see USF Athletics promoting academics in this way,� Roth said. “It was especially meaningful to be honored by a student.�
Jane Smart, PhD, CCC-SLP, associate professor of instruction in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, was recognized by a student in her Diagnostics and Phonology course, and Mateus Santos, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Criminology, was recognized by a student in Quantitative Methods II.
In an email to faculty members, Lacrosse Coach Mindy McCord wrote, "It's professors like you who make a difference by creating a successful, personal learning environment that has allowed our players to excel in the classroom."
