Description of Research Interests

My research evaluates the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of integrative healthcare interventions designed to improve health and functional outcomes in clinical and community populations. With interdisciplinary training in medicine, public health, and health economics, I identify and test medical and psychosocial interventions that improve the well-being of people living with chronic conditions. My current work examines how integrative approaches, including diet, physical activity, sleep, mind-body practices, and social engagement, promote positive aging among middle-aged and older adults. I direct the Positive Aging Lab (PAL), where my team and I carry out this work.
