Udit Sharma is an assistant professor of marketing at the Muma College of Business at the ÐÜèAVÃâ·Ñ. He teaches marketing research and quantitative research methods. His research examines the role of marketing during periods of organizational discontinuity, including bankruptcies, economic crises, and credit defaults. His work also explores corporate political activity, customer political identity, and the role of marketing expertise within firms’ upper echelons.
His research has appeared in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, and Public Management Review. Additional work is forthcoming or under review at the Journal of Marketing Research and other leading journals.
He serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Business Research and regularly reviews for journals including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Management, and Industrial Marketing Management. He has also served as a track chair for the Society for Marketing Advances Conference.
He earned his PhD in marketing and master's degree in marketing research from Michigan State University and an MBA in marketing from Nirma University in India.
