Ryne Heslin is an interdisciplinary research-based artist working primarily in sound, video, and sculptural assemblage. His work investigates how knowledge, ideas, individuals, and reality are constructed and understood. In addition to being the School of Art & Art History's Graduate Program Facilitator, Ryne teaches a diverse range of courses as an Assistant Professor of Instruction, including Video, Animation, Digital Drawing, Sculpture, and BFA Senior Thesis.
Prior to joining USF, Ryne taught first year writing at UC San Diego with Sixth College's Culture Art & Technology Writing Program. He received a BFA in Studio Art from the ÐÜèAVÃâ·Ñ and an MFA in Visual Art from the University of California San Diego.
