BIO
Anabel Castillo Mora is a health informatics researcher and academic specializing
in digital health, health technology, and health information management. She earned
her PhD in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University’s College
of Engineering, where her doctoral work examined the implementation and policy implications
of health technologies.
Her research has addressed digital tools for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes,
including culturally appropriate mobile health applications for pregnancy care and
the use of smartphone technology to support preventive care. She has also contributed
to research on health technology implementation and health information exchange. Her
teaching and research interests span digital health policy, health information management,
healthcare quality, and data-driven healthcare improvement.
